Do you "hear" correct grammar? Do you want to publish your book with Ann and me or with Ann and I?
When I lived in Japan and taught English some students would say to me, "You can't really hear the difference between bat and vat, can you? You can just tell which is correct from the context, right?
No, I would assure them I can hear the difference between bat and vat. What are you used to hearing? What sounds correct to you? How does the grammar a speaker or writer uses affect your desire to listen to them?
